Is your internet browser slow?

Are you trying to browse web pages and its just not working. The pages are really slow to load or do not load at all....Or maybe you are working on websites like I do and you cannot see updates on your website because you are viewing the old cached page.

This can happen if your browser cache is overloaded with junk files stored in your browser cache.

The browser cache is stored for your convenience to make web browsing faster. What it does is store a copy of certain files on your computer from websites you visit often.
The only thing to do is clear internet browser cache. This will delete all the old files stored and you should be able to start browsing again!

You can also delete these files manually by deleting temporary internet files.

To get to the temp folders here are the paths...:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp (%temp)
C:\Windows\Temp (temp)
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

Watch this video showing how to manually delete Temporary files on your computer.

If you want to delete website history this will just remove the history of what sites you have visited. This generally does not speed up your web browsing.

  1. Speeding up our computer and browser is what we always wanted because of the loads of work we have. I definitely like your post because I now know how to. Thanks! :)
